Located at: Hwy 7 and Lowell Blvd

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: 8/9 a.m. to 4/5 p.m. two days a week. Flexible on any combination of 2 days that are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The family is happy to guarantee 16 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6+ months - longer if it’s a great match.

Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 11-months old.

About the Children:

This sweet and spirited 11-month-old is full of personality!
He’ll be turning one in September and is becoming a big brother in February!
He’s a happy baby who loves being sung to, played with, and getting lots of attention.
He’s not walking yet but crawls lightning-fast and adores his stuffed animals, musical toys, Hot Wheels, and exploring outside.
He’s very attached to Mom and Dad and going through a strong separation anxiety phase.

About the Family:

Dad works in the trades primarily outside of the home and there are some days he will be home.
Mom works from home in a private home office space the majority of the time.

About the Pets:

This family has two cats and two dogs - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Additional Notes:

The family previously worked with a teenage sitter, but it wasn’t the right fit.
They’re now looking for a more experienced and qualified caregiver who can better support their little one’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including total and complete childcare, child meal prep, occasional child laundry, and light general tidying.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Bilingual would be great, but not required.
The family is seeking a warm, engaging, and mature caregiver - someone who is confident with toddlers, safety-focused, and can offer calm, attentive care.
The ideal candidate would have a go-with-the-flow energy and natural caring instincts.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$33/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits for short-term employment, including paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
