Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. plus some evening flexibility for an occasional date night. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: January 5th 2026

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 2.5 years old and 7 months old.

About the Children:

The oldest child is in school for most of the day, he is shy at first, but once he warms up, he has a lot of energy.
He is a typical toddler boy who loves to be outside, play, and read books.
Primary care will be for the family’s youngest. She is advancing fast because of her busy older brother! She is so close to crawling and is overall pretty chill.

About the Family:

Mom has a lot of flexibility in her WFH schedule and goes into the office 1-2 times/ week.
Dad just started a new job and will primarily WFH, but travels as well.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

This family has had nannies in the past and is looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including child meal prep, school pickup, child laundry, organizing toys, and occasionally going grocery shopping.
The family will be open to outings once trust has been established.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

5+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time.
A backround in early childhood would be a huge bonus!
A clean driving record.
The ideal candidate for this job will be transparent, kind, punctual, and have excellent communication skills.
These parents are hoping to collaborate with their future nanny and be a true partnership.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,000 - $72,800 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a family vehicle may be provided.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 4+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
