Located at: Sloan's Lake

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Any two 8-hour days Monday through Friday. The family is happy to guarantee 16 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3+ months - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: January 5th, 2026

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 2 years old and a 3-week-old baby.

About the Children:

The oldest child is a little shy but fearless! He is very excited about his new little sister, but has become increasingly more attached to mom. Mom will be tag-teaming with the nanny throughout the day.

About the Family:

Dad works full-time outside of the home.
Mom stays at home and is looking for help during the first few months of welcoming a new child.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

Family prefers that the nanny stay in or close-to home and plan engaging activities.

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including child meal prep, child and baby laundry, washing and sanitizing bottles, and general tidying.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Some college, ideally ECE, is required.
The ideal candidate will focus on early education and preschool development for the family’s oldest child. Mom’s main focus will be on the baby, though she’ll occasionally trade off to enjoy some one-on-one time with the older child.
The right person will be comfortable keeping activities centered around the home in the beginning, helping the children thrive in a familiar environment. Once trust and routine are established, Mom will be open to short outings within walking distance. To start, however, everyone should be comfortable with a home-based routine.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $5,700 - $6,700 over the 3 months (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

Since this is a flexible, short-term, part-time position, there is no PTO, but accrued sick time.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard childhood vaccinations and tdap.
