Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Open on a schedule 3 to 4 days a week, 15 to 28 hours a week guaranteed.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out role.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position from June 10th to August 9th.

Start Date: June 10th

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 11 and 9.

About the Children:

These two brothers share a passion for games, engineering, and learning. The eldest loves Nintendo games, especially Super Mario Brothers, while his younger brother, struggles with some light anxiety, he finds peace and excitement in chess, Minecraft, and cooking. Mom would love the nanny to help get the boys off their screens and enjoying outdoor summer activities. Both, though on the Autism spectrum and gifted, present as typical kids to outsiders, with occasional rigidity in their thinking and subtle differences in mannerisms, but their zest for life and learning shines brightly!

About the Family:

Dual working parents with private office spaces.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

The family cultivates a space of curiosity and creativity, empowering their children to delve into diverse interests and embrace an array of enjoyable summer activities! They will have a nanny summer passes to the ZOO, Mussums, and Pool!

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties included cooking for the boys, children's laundry, picking up after the children, and light organizing.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of childcare experience with school-age children.
knowledge of neurodivergent children and or special needs experience.
The ideal candidate for the job will have an understanding of high-functioning gifted Autistic children and be able to encourage fun outdoor activities.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $26-$33/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering paid major Holidays and Sick time.

Any Additional Perks:

Zoo, Museum, and Pool pass.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Good Swimmer
