Located at: Chatfield Bluffs

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday 6/6:30 a.m. to 11/12 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 20 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3 to 6+ months. The family would love to extend if they find a good match.

Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 2.5 and 6 months old.

About the Children:

The family's two children attend daycare just a mile down the street. The Family Assistant will primarily start around 6:00 AM to help ease the children into their day—getting them up, dressed, and ready without feeling rushed. Mom typically leaves for work around 6:45–7:00 AM, and Dad begins work calls around 6:00 AM. They would love for the children to wake up naturally and have a calm, consistent morning routine before being dropped off at daycare around 9:00 AM. Childcare responsibilities will primarily take place between 6:00–9:00 AM, followed by household management tasks (such as tidying, laundry, errands, or meal prep) until approximately 11:00 AM.

About the Family:

Dual working parents, Mom works at a hospital in Denver while dad works from home and travels for work.

About the Pets:

One sweet older pup who lives in the home. They would love the FA to help walk him especially if Dad is traveling.

With both parents working busy jobs, they are looking for a Family Assistant to step in and help keep their home and lives running smoothly

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All Family Assistant duties including meal preparation for the family ( following meal kits) family laundry, errands, pet care, dishes, light housekeeping, and organizational projects.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of experience with infants and toddlers.
Previous experience with household management duties.
Must be proactive and able to find things to do around the home.
Due to the nature of Mom and Dad's work, they need an FA who is 100% reliable and on time.
The ideal candidate will be loving, patient, and proactive. The family sees this person as a valued extension of their home—someone who helps ensure the children’s days start off on the right foot and the home stays organized so they can enjoy quality family time after work.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering paid time off (dependent on the commitment length), paid major holidays, and paid sick days.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations ( MMR, T-dap). Flu and COVID boosters are strongly preferred but not required.
