Located at: University and Exposition

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Family is seeking a night nanny/NCS 3 week nights per week - candidate's choice (no weekends). They are looking for a minimum of 8-hours per night.

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a contract position for two months.

Start Date: Approximately July 28, 2026

Children's Ages: Overnight care will be for a newborn baby girl whose expected delivery date is July 25, 2026.

About the Children:

Mom and dad are excited about welcoming their first baby - a sweet little girl - in July and are seeking a collaborative, supportive relationship with their provider.
Grandma may be in the home after the birth of the baby, but will not be assisting with overnight care.

About the Family:

Mom is planning to nurse the baby, and welcomes support and guidance.
This is a 2-level home, and the nursery is on the same level as the primary bedroom.
There is a recliner/glider in the nursery, but family is open to providing a bed, if preferred.

About the Pets:

Family has one large dog - a Chesapeake By Retriever - in the home. Very sweet, but all candidates must be comfortable with dogs.

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard night nanny/Newborn Care Specialist duties including baby laundry, stocking the nursery, prepping/washing bottles etc.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

All candidate must have extensive experience as a night nanny or NCS experience.
Candidate should have a deep understanding of newborn development (0-3 months), postpartum care, and Safe Sleep guidelines.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a calm, reassuring expert who balances attentive newborn care with being a steady presence in the home, seamlessly handling the night shift while quietly guiding the family through the milestones of the first few months.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering an hour rate of $40-$45/hour based on experience/expertise/certifications.

Have strong professional and personal references from former families
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
CPR and First Aid certified
