Located at: Lowry and Yosemite

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday through Friday with Tuesday/Wednesday being 10-6, Thursday being 11-7 and Friday being 12-6, with an occasional date night. The family is happy to guarantee 30 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 9 and 12 years old.

About the Children:

This family has two awesome daughters at the same school. Their 7th grader is a super smart, artistic sweetheart who loves dance, violin, and creative writing. Their 4th grader is a sweet and funny bookworm who’s always building forts, diving into creative projects, and enjoys piano, dance, acrobatics, and swimming. Both girls are a little shy at first but very warm once you know them. Pickup is usually staggered since the older one stays later for dance.

About the Family:

Mom works outside of the home Tuesday - Friday.
Dad works full-time at home and travels for work once a quarter.

About the Pets:

This family has one cat - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them for 2+ years but is relocating. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including meal prep, child laundry, organizational projects, light housekeeping and activity pick up.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with school-age children
Previous experience with family assistant duties
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who brings plenty of fun and humor into daily life with the kids, and takes a light, easygoing approach rather than a strict disciplinarian style.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

EX: The family is offering $30-$40/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $46,800 - $62,400 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job OR a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
