Located at: Indian Hills/Morrison area (~14 minutes from C470 & 285)

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The family is offering flexibility based on the nanny’s preferred schedule. Candidates may choose a 32-hour schedule, working Monday through Thursday; an average of 36 hours per week, working Monday through Thursday plus every other or half day on Friday; or a 40-hour schedule, working Monday through Friday. Standard hours are approximately 6:45/7:00 a.m. sharp to 3:00 p.m. The nanny must arrive promptly, as Dad leaves for work at 7:00 a.m. Family will guarantee weekly hours based on desired schedule (32/36/40).

Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Start Date: ASAP - Mid/End of September, 2026

Children's Ages: Care will be for two adorable little boys: one newborn baby (now 2 weeks old) and one toddler, who will be almost 3 years old at the start of the position.

About the Children:

You're going to love spending your days with these cute little guys! The family's almost 3-year-old boy is active, thoughtful and happiest outdoors. He loves riding his bike, hiking, digging in the dirt and reading many, many books each day. He is a caring older brother, naps well in the afternoon and responds well to redirection, consistency and clear expectations.
Their newborn is happy and healthy. He will be approximately 2 to 3 months old when the position begins and will be bottle-fed.
The nanny will typically care for both boys approximately two days per week. On the remaining days, one child will spend time with nearby grandparents.
The family values experiential learning, socialization and active days filled with reading, music, creative play, classes and LOTS of outdoor play and adventures.

About the Family:

This is a kind, generous and balanced family looking for a true partnership. They value open communication, consistency and a self-starter who can confidently take ownership of the children’s routines and activities.
Mom works outside of the home full-time and has a very intense, demanding position. Dad also works outside of the home, but will be in/out occasionally during the nanny's time at their home.
Reliability and timeliness are very important to both parents. Candidates must be comfortable providing care for mildly ill children (as expected in all nanny roles) and driving in the winter.

Additional Notes:

The family lives in a quiet, gated Indian Hills community backing to expansive open space. Roads to the home are paved and plowed. Four-wheel drive is not required, but the nanny must be comfortable driving in winter conditions.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties are expected, including preparing children’s meals and bottles, washing bottles and pump parts, unloading and loading the dishwasher, completing children’s laundry, maintaining their rooms and play areas and cleaning up after meals and activities.
Plan active, developmentally appropriate days that include reading, music, creative play, outdoor exploration and regular opportunities for socialization.
This family is seeking an active, engaging, and outdoorsy nanny who will take the children to classes, parks, recreation centers, hiking trails and other age-appropriate outings. Nanny must enjoy spending at least one hour outside each morning and another hour outside each afternoon.

Travel Requirements:

No regular travel is required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

All candidates must have at least 2-3+ years of hands-on infant and toddler experience - ideally as a nanny - and strong professional references.
Candidates must be confident caring for an infant around 3 months old and balancing the needs of two young children at once.
A college degree is preferred but not required. The family will prioritize experience, enthusiasm and overall fit.
The ideal candidate will be ACTIVE enough to push a stroller uphill and go on regular hikes, be energetic and genuinely enjoy spending significant time outdoors.

The ideal candidate for this family will be highly punctual, proactive, positive and have a helpful, happy demeanor. This person will confidently take ownership of the children’s routines and activities (no micromanaging here!), communicate openly with the parents and bring new ideas to the role.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering an hourly rate of $30 to $37 per hour (gross), based on experience and qualifications. Annualized gross compensation ranges from $49,920 to $76,960 (32-40 hours/week).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

The family is offering approximately 4+ weeks of paid time off annually, including two weeks selected by the nanny with best efforts to coordinate at least one week with the family, all standard paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
The family will reimburse mileage when the nanny uses their personal vehicle for work-related driving.

Any Additional Perks:

Candidates may choose a 32-, 36- or 40-hour schedule!
The home’s location is also a major asset, offering a peaceful, gated foothills setting with expansive open space, beautiful surroundings and easy access to outdoor recreation near Mt. Falcon, Evergreen, Littleton and other western suburbs.
