They are seeking a nanny who enjoys the outdoors and can create stimulating activities and ideas to support education and development.

Dual working parents. Mom works from home in a private office space, and Dad works from home 2 days a week.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home, aside from a small reptile.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including baby laundry, cooking for the child, picking up around the home, unloading and loading the dishwasher, washing bottles, and creating stimulating activities.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of in-home nanny experience with infants and toddlers.
Must be comfortable driving in the mountains.
Spanish proficiency is a plus but not required.
Due to the nature of dad's work, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent resident card.
NO screen time rule, they do not want their little one growing up around screens.
The ideal candidate will be highly trustworthy and value open, honest communication. Mom and Dad are looking for a nanny who is comfortable sharing the good, the bad, and the ugly of each day, and who believes in maintaining a healthy, transparent dialogue so everyone is always on the same page.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $29-$35+/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $72,800 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off to coordinate with the families (a week in the summer and a week over Thanksgiving) and then an additional 40 hours of PTO of the candidate's choosing, 5-7 paid major holidays, paid sick days, and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including tdap.
