Located at: York and 31st

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Preferably Tuesday and Thursday, but the family is open to Monday and Wednesday, 7/9am - 3/5pm. The family is happy to guarantee 16 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3+ months - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: January 2026

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for three children ages 8, 6, and 4.

About the Children:

The oldest child is an 8-year-old who’s sweet, thoughtful, and loves reading, listening to podcasts, playing soccer, and swimming.
The middle child is a spirited 6-year-old with a big personality who enjoys percussion club and swimming. She thrives with structure and clear boundaries.
The youngest is a goofy, kind 4-year-old Montessori student who’s a little math whiz and loves numbers.

About the Family:

Mom works full-time from home but travels often for work.
Dad works full-time outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has one sweet 45 lb Goldendoodle - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has had great nannies in the past.
They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including school pick up and drop off, running errands, light tidying, meal prep for the family, organizational projects around the home, and family laundry.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with school-age children
Previous experience with household management duties
Some college education is preferred.
The ideal canidiate would take initiative around the house and guide the kids to be more independent.
The family is dreaming of a candidate to remove some of the mental load that comes with parenthood.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $31-$33/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to 3-month compensation of $6,700 - $7,100 gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.
They are happy to flex days for vacations or holidays.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
