Located at: Parker, CO
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8/8:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. with every other friday off. The family is happy to guarantee 80 hours every two weeks.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children children ages 3.5 and 18 months old.
About the Children:

The oldest child is in school part-time from 8:30 to 11 am, so primary care will be for the family’s youngest, who is adventurous, active, and on a great schedule. Both children are curious, enjoy the outdoors, and do great with a routine.

About the Family:
  • Dual working parents.
  • Mom works from home (in a private office space), and Dad works outside of the home.
  • The family values open communication and partnership, and mom is very involved and hands-on ( not a micromanager).
About the Pets:
  • One sweet and friendly doodle is also part of the family.
Additional Notes:
  • This family has had a great relationship with their current ABC nanny, whom they love. They would love for this next nanny to stay on with them for years to come.
  • They’re open to outings and adventures once trust is built and routines are established with the new nanny.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

This position includes all standard nanny duties such as: Preparing healthy meals and snacks, managing children’s laundry, light housekeeping tasks such as dishes, and daily tidying up. Engaging the children in creative, educational, and developmentally appropriate activities.

Travel Requirements:
  • The ability to travel is not required for the position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2 years of nanny experience with 2+ children at a time.
  • Ideally, they are seeking an individual with an early childhood education background  (not required).
  • The ideal candidate is reliable and consistent, with excellent punctuality and communication. They are calm, patient, and able to stay composed in stressful moments. This person is resourceful and proactive, taking initiative without needing constant direction, and is a confident, critical thinker who can assess situations and make sound decisions. Most importantly, they truly love what they do; warm, nurturing, and genuinely devoted to children. The family is seeking someone who can strike the perfect balance of being easygoing and adaptable while also maintaining a Type A level of organization, helping keep both the home and daily schedule running smoothly with positive, nurturing energy.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $27-$30/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $56,000 - $62,000 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 1+ week of paid time off the nanny's choosing, then an addtional week+ to try and coordinate with the family's vacation, paid major holidays, paid sick days, and a vehicle to drive on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • Every other Friday will be off.
  • A family car will be provided for on-the-job driving, and the family is open to errands or short trips with the children as part of the day’s rhythm.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references.
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • Infant CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard childhood vaccinations, including Tdap, and would strongly prefer a candidate willing to get a flu shot each year.
