Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Tuesday through Friday 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. plus flexibility for occasional date nights. The family is happy to guarantee 24 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 7 months, November - May.

Start Date: November 2025

Children's Ages: Care will be for one child who is 12-years-old.

Their daughter is in school full-time from 8 - 3:15.
She’s a self-sufficient, silly, and fun-loving tween.

Dual working Moms who work full-time outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has two small dogs - all candidates must be pet-friendly and willing to help out with occasional walks, vet and groomer visits.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including school pick-up, light tidying, laundry, organization projects around the home, running errands, grocery shopping, and light family meal prep.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone open to pet and housesitting while they are on vacation.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of family assistant experience with school-age children
Someone who is health-conscious is preferred.
The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, good at communicating, and responsible.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$33/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $18,800 - $22,100 for the 7-month contract (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 1+ week of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement of $150 based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
