Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am -5pm, twice a week till 5:30/6pm. Family will guarantee 50 hours per week, although some weeks may be less (45-48 hours) depending on parent's work schedule.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Children's Ages: Care will be for 3 children ages 7, 4, and 5 months.

About the Children:

This lovely family of 5 is seeking a nanny to care for their three young children. The two oldest are in school, while primary care will be for the family's baby.
The family's oldest child is in 1st grade, full-time. He is observant, silly, and "all boy." Their middle child is a sweet, active, and little guy who loves riding bikes, going to the park, and playing with trucks and his older brother. He is in school part-time. The family's youngest is a sweet baby girl who is 5 months old. She is snuggly, easy going and they're working on getting her on a consistent schedule - for eating and sleeping - as she gets a bit older and it's developmentally appropriate.

About the Family:

Mom works part-time from her home office and will be in/out throughout the day. All candidates must feel comfortable working in tandem with mom and on their own with the children.
Dad works full time outside of the home and occasionally travels for work.

About the Pets:

This family has a calm, older Goldendoodle and a little mix/rescue who is 10lbs (both hypoallergenic). All candidates must be dog friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has had several nannies over the past 7 years, and they've maintained a positive, connected relationship with them all. While they need someone who's a great employee (positive, reliable, proactive) this is a very important partnership for mom and dad.
They'd love a nanny/family assistant who is also seeking a multi-year commitment as consistency and continuity are ideal for their busy family.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including school pick up and drop off, general tidying, children/family laundry, and light errands. The family would like help with occasional meal prep as well, as time allows.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

5+ years of nanny experience caring for multiple children, infants to school-age.
Previous experience with family assistant duties
College degree is strongly preferred but not required.
The ideal candidate can balance a busy household! With three children in the home, mom is hoping to find a great partner to tackle the day with. Someone who values a solid routine, who is loving but firm, and responsible/proactive will thrive in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering a base rate of $32-$37/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $84,000 - $97,000+ per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Have a minimum of 3-5+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
