Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Three days a week, candidates choice 9am to 3pm. 18 hours a week guaranteed.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6+ months with the opportunity to extend.

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 7 months and 4.5 years old.

About the Children:

Care will be for two children: a healthy, happy 7-month-old and her active, imaginative older sister. Mom will occasionally have the infant, so the nannies' focus can be on their oldest. They want a nanny with experience and and emphasis on educational play.

About the Family:

Dual work-from-home parents with private office spaces.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

The family has relied on family members to care for their little ones until now. They are excited to have a nanny join their family.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including cooking for the children, children's laundry, washing bottles, picking up after the children, unloading and loading the dishwasher, and planning educational activities.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel would be nice, but not required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of childcare experience with infants and toddlers.
1 year of in-home childcare experience
A second language would be a big plus; however, it is not required.
The ideal candidate will be creative and fun. They will have knowledge of development and bring a plethora of educational activities and ideas to the job each day.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $25-$30/hour (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family offers all standard benefits, including 5 days of paid time off, paid holidays that fall on a scheduled workday, and a vehicle for on-the-job use.

Any Additional Perks:

The nanny can pick the three days of the week!

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
