About the Children:
  • Their 7-year-old is curious, bright, energetic and incredibly funny. He loves science, engineering, electronics, LEGO and learning how things work. He is autistic and has ADHD, and may occasionally become rigid, hyper-focused or have difficulty with transitions. He is high-functioning, attends a traditional school and thrives with a patient, confident caregiver who can provide flexibility while maintaining clear and consistent boundaries. He attends school Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Their almost 5-year-old is sweet, athletic, energetic and full of personality. He loves trains, Spider-Man, outdoor play and exploring the world around him. He attends school Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

About the Family:
  • Both parents are warm, friendly and direct communicators who are very comfortable having someone work alongside them in their home. Their household is casual, social and fast-paced, with clear expectations and respectful boundaries.
  • Mom works a demanding hybrid schedule that includes occasional travel, while Dad also works a hybrid schedule but is typically out of the home more often.
  • The family values open communication and provides feedback directly, but always with a thoughtful and kind approach. Mom takes the lead on household and child management and will partner closely with the Family Assistant.
About the Pets:
  • The family has a friendly 80-pound English Golden Retriever, along with fish and frogs. Candidates must be comfortable working around pets, but no pet care is required.

Additional Notes:
  • This family had a wonderful four-year relationship with their previous nanny, who recently moved out of state. They hope to find another dependable, long-term professional who will become a trusted and valued part of their family.
