Located at: Hwy 93 and Golden Parkway (Hwy 58) - Central Golden
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Family is open on to building the schedule with their employee! They are happy to guarantee 40 hours per week (or 30-35, if preferred), Monday through Friday (daytime hours). Occasional evenings or weekends may be requested with advance notice for date nights. The priority is finding the perfect fit!
Live-In / Live-Out: This is a live-out position.
Commitment/Contract Length: Longevity is important to this family. They'd love someone who will be with them for at least 1 year, but ideally longer.
Start Date: September 21, 2026 - The family is open on start date (within a few weeks) for the right fit!

Children's Ages: Care will be for an almost 4 years old, 1.5 years old and a newborn due in December, 2026.
About the Children:
  • Family currently has two young children, their oldest - a boy who is almost 4 years old, and their second is a little girl who is 1.5 years old. They are excited to welcome their third baby in early December, 2026!
  • Mom and dad believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, exploration, and joy, with learning woven into everyday life through reading, creativity, outdoor play, and hands-on experiences.
About the Family:
  • This is a truly warm, active, loving and entrepreneurial family. As their family grows, and they welcome their third child, and dad is launching another business!
  • Dad will work from a home office as well as an office outside the home, while Mom is a dedicated stay-at-home mom. She will be present throughout the days, making this a collaborative role where you'll work alongside her (you're going to love her!) as a trusted teammate.

  • There are no pets in the home.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • With three little ones, no two days will be the same! The goal is that this position will be approximately 60% family assistant duties and 40% childcare and child development. It will require someone flexible, proactive, and willing to pitch in based on the needs of the day, especially as the family welcomes their third child.
  • Responsibilities include errands, grocery shopping, light meal prep, child-related laundry, household tidying, restocking supplies, coordinating appointments, and assisting with family projects.
  • Childcare duties include managing routines, meals, and naps while supporting development through reading, creative play, outdoor activities, and safe transportation.
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it a few weeks a year, with advanced notice. They go some very fun/desirable places!

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • At least 3 years of verifiable experience with infants, toddlers, school-age children is required, preferably as a nanny/FA.
  • Candidates who have prior experience in early childhood education, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, teaching, or similar child development philosophies will be given priority.
  • Individuals who have experience with assistant/household management duties is strongly preferred.
  • College degree strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Job will require some driving, so a clean/good driving record is important.
  • The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and attentive, with the ability to anticipate the family’s needs, take initiative, and seamlessly balance childcare with household responsibilities. They will genuinely enjoy helping young children learn and grow and work collaboratively alongside a stay-at-home mom.
  • The family is looking for someone who is outgoing, energetic, patient, calm, dependable, flexible, and positive. This person will naturally engage children through play, reading, art, and hands-on experiences, communicate professionally, and be interested in becoming a trusted, long-term part of the family.

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • EX: The family is offering $30-$37/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,400 - $76,960 per year (gross).

  • Have a minimum of 3-5+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations (not requiring flu or Covid)
