Located at: South Denver / Cherry Hills Village, near S. Colorado & E. Hampden

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8/9/10 a.m. to 4/5/6 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week and is happy to give a schedule 3 weeks in advance. Flexibility for additional 1 to 2 shifts on Saturdays (4 hours each, during the day) and a date night ever other week (on a weekday) will be paid as overtime.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Family and Household Dynamics

A peek behind the front door...

Children's Ages: Care will primarily be for three youngest children however the family has seven in total and they will all be around after school. Their ages are 14, 11, 9, 6, 3 and twin 5-month olds.

About the Children:

The infant twin boys were born at term in February and currently love smiling, giggling, and rolling over. They are the sweetest little duo.
The three-year old is in preschool three full days a week and she loves her new baby brothers, weekly swim lessons and dance classes!
The family's four older ones are in school full-time, but will be home after school.
All children are all active, happy and healthy. So all candidates considered for the role must be active and able to ride a bike, swim, and join in the children's fun.
All of the children attend private Christian schools.

About the Family:

Mom is a stay at home mom and will be working closely with her new employee daily. All candidates must be comfortable with ongoing duties and duties that support the family/children/mom on an ad-hoc/as-needed basis as well.
Dad is an active parent, but works full-time outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has two cats and two dogs. All candidates must be pet-friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family successfully employed a wonderful ABC nanny for several years.
They are a conservative family with all of their children in a Christian school.
They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties, including meal prep for the children, light housekeeping, children’s laundry, and some errands and organizational projects.

Travel Requirements:

They would love a nanny to travel with them once or twice a year, with notice, all expenses paid. Trust us, you’ll want to go on their vacations…an opportunity to see the world, in style, with your cute little charges in tow!

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

4+ years of full-time nanny experience with infants and toddlers
Twin experience is a huge plus
Previous experience caring for 3+ children at one time as a nanny or family assistant is required

All experience must be supported by excellent professional references.

Must be active and able to hike, bike, and run after a 4-year-old.
Strong swimming ability is a must-have.
No large tattoos (small ones ok).
Only small, minimal facial piercings - ears ok.
Must be comfortable supporting their Christian beliefs day-to-day
Prefer candidates with a 4-year college degree
Candidates should be able to take initiative day-to-day with household/child-related tasks, work well independently, and be comfortable working as part of a team, with mom, on a daily basis.
And of course, every day will be different with this fun bunch, so someone with a go-with-the-flow personality and willing to step in wherever needed!

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $35+/hour (gross) BOE. Annualized, compensation will be $72,800 or more.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to discussing a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
