The housekeeper will have her own private break room for lunch and breaks.
This family has employed a housekeeper for over two decades; they have a great relationship and are looking to add a new member to their team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

This beautiful family home is 10,000 square feet and they have a guest house and an event barn for family use.
There are 4 bedrooms that get used regularly and a guest bedroom that isn't used regularly: 7 full bathrooms, 3 powder rooms.
Guest house is not used regularly and only needs light weekly maintenance.
The event barn gets used for family and friend gatherings.
Family is seeking all professional/standard housekeeping duties including deep cleaning of all main areas each week (4 bedrooms and 7 baths), support with 4-5 loads of family laundry and putting it away, ironing and tidying up throughout the day.
Occasionally, the family would like their housekeeper to assist clearing patio furniture, sweeping the tennis court, polishing silver, storing crystal and fine china, et cetera.

Travel Requirements:

No travel required.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

Housekeepers must keep it professional. The family prefers employees who understand it's best to take personal phone calls on breaks, listen to music on Airpods vs. on speaker et cetera.
Candidates must have 3-5+ years of professional in-home housekeeping experience with private families (with references).
Additional housekeeping-related positions, such as working at a hotel as a housekeeper, is valuable as supplemental experience only.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $40-$45/hour (gross) based on relevant in-home experience. Based on the guaranteed schedule of 40 hours per week, this equates to an annual compensation of $83,000 - $93,000/year.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

Family is offering 2 weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, sick pay and guaranteed hours.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional housekeeping experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay (W2)
