Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The family is open to two schedule options Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, 40 hours a week guaranteed or 4 days a week 8am to 4pm, 32 hours a week guaranteed.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year

Children's Ages: Care will be for one little preemie newborn who will be 6 months adjusted.

About the Children:

This sweet little guy had a rough start and spent 114 days in the NICU. He’s now growing stronger by the day, but due to his tiny size and early challenges, he remains highly susceptible to germs. The family is seeking a nanny who lives a low-risk lifestyle and is extremely mindful about minimizing exposure to illness. The ideal candidate will be proactive about hygiene, cautious in social settings, and committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment to support this baby’s continued health and development.

Dual working parents who work in and out of the home.

About the Pets:

There are no pets in the home.

Additional Notes:

First-time parents are seeking a confident nanny. Mom and Dad have read the book "Mom's on call" and are loosely following the schedule.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties, including the baby’s laundry, washing bottles and breast pump parts, sanitizing toys, unloading and loading the dishwasher, and supporting early childhood development.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2 years of experience with infants( prefered in home).
Previous experience with premature babies would be strongly preferred.
The ideal candidate will practice a low-exposure lifestyle and be extremely mindful about minimizing germ transmission, given the baby’s fragile immune system. They should have excellent hygiene habits, including consistent handwashing and sanitizing before handling the baby or any of their belongings.
This position requires a nanny with strong infant care experience. The ideal caregiver will have a background in developmental play and experience incorporating early intervention strategies, such as working alongside occupational therapy goals, encouraging motor development, and supporting milestone progression. They should also feel confident helping with feeding transitions and the introduction of solids in a safe, nurturing way.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $25-$29/hour (gross) for 40 hours a week gurenteed and $28 to $32/hr, 4 days a week, 32 hours gurenteed.

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off of the nanny's choosing, 1 week to coordinate with the families, paid holidays, paid sick days.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations, including flu and TDaP. COVID-19 booster strongly preferred but not required.
