Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 2-years old and 5-months.

About the Children:

The family's oldest loves to play with his train set, go outside, and swim at the community pool. He is calm, social and adorable.
The family's youngest is a sweet baby girl. She is on a good sleeping and eating schedule and just started rolling over.

About the Family:

Mom works part-time and has the flexibility to work from or outside of the home. And dad travels at least four days per week for work. They are seeking a nanny who is reliable, engaged and has some flexibility to adjust their schedule, as-needed.

About the Pets:

This family has one older dog. All candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family is looking forward to welcoming a new long-term nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including child laundry, meal prep, general tidying and clean up, and helping with toy rotation.
They would love someone open to helping prep a simple dinner or follow a recipe a few times a week.

Travel Requirements:

The ability to travel is required for the position.
The family has 2 homes in the mountains (Beaver Creek and Aspen) and would ask the nanny to come with them on weekdays, every other month, with advanced notice. The same work schedule would be followed and a travel stipend given.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with infants and toddlers
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time.
Returning ABC candidates will be given extra consideration.
The ideal candidate for this position will have stability and consistency in their life and will have a soft voice that is firm with follow-through.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $62,400 - $72,800 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, 8 paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
