South Denver Family looking for Infant Nanny – Great Schedule!

Position Highlights

A quick look at this new ABC job…

Located at: Iliff and Broadway
Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to approximately 2:00–3:00 p.m. Each afternoon, the nanny will drop their daughter off at her grandparents’ home near I-25 and Arapahoe Road for a 2:00 p.m. handoff. From time to time, they may need the nanny to stay a bit later if she naps longer or if her grandparents are out of town. In addition to the weekday schedule, the family would love support with two date nights per month on weekdays, as well as one weekend date (day or evening) per month. They can plan this ahead of time with the nanny to find days and times that work for both parties. They are able to guarantee 40 hours per week.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one children who is 14 months old.
About the Children:

This sweet girl is an engaging, chatty, and happy baby who loves to be on the move! She is currently crawling, very close to walking, and thriving on a consistent schedule. Her parents are seeking a nanny who can confidently maintain her routine, follow their lead, and keep her days structured, fun, and enriching. She is an easygoing, outdoorsy little one who enjoys fresh air, exploring, and staying busy. The ideal nanny will bring creative ideas and age-appropriate activities to support her development and curiosity. She currently attends a weekly class at the local library, which she loves, and the nanny will be responsible for taking her, as well as planning similar outings to keep her engaged and learning.

About the Family:
  • Dad WFH in a private office space.
  • Mom works full-time outside of the home.
About the Pets:
  • There are no pets in the home.
Additional Notes:

The nanny will be responsible for dropping off their little one at Grandma and Grandpa's at 2 pm each day near Arapahoe rd & I-25.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:
  • All standard nanny duties, including meal prep for the child, child laundry, sanitizing and organizing toys, dishes, and light tidying up around the home. The family is open to outings outside of the home as well, so driving is required.
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 1+ years of nanny experience with toddlers.
  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience in a preschool or in-home setting.
  • They are seeking a nurturing, dependable nanny who is experienced or has knowledge in early childhood development, ideally with Montessori, RIE, CDA, or similar training.
  • The ideal nanny would create engaging, age-appropriate activities that support language, motor, and social development, while encouraging structured play, sensory learning, reading, and art.
  • A gentle and positive approach to behavior guidance is essential, as well as support through milestones such as walking, feeding transitions, and eventually potty training. The family is looking for someone warm, patient, and consistent.
  • They would love the nanny to share daily updates on naps, meals, moods, and milestones.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $28-$31/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $58,240 - $64,480 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2 weeks of paid time off of the nanny's choosing, one week to coordinate, paid major holidays, paid sick days, and a stipend for driving on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is also open to offering a health insurance stipend based on the candidate’s hourly rate.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard childhood vaccinations, including the flu and TDaP.
