Located at: Mississippi and Colorado

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: 3 or 4 days a week, 6 hour shifts with working hours between 8am-5pm. The family will guarantee 16 hrs for 3 days or 24 hours for 4 days a week. Flexible on days.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 6+ months - longer if it’s a great match.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one 16-month-old.

About the Children:

This toddler is curious, active, and loves to read. He takes one nap a day and is a mama's boy at the moment. He is on track with all milestones.

About the Family:

Mom works part-time and has a hybrid schedule; she will be in and out of the home.
Dad works long hours outside of the home.

About the Pets:

This family has two small dogs - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including meal prep, child laundry, light tidying, organization projects, staying on track with a schedule, going on outings, and providing a safe environment for learning and exploration.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers
Someone happy to help with home organization would be great
The ideal candidate can plan activities, support this toddler's schedule, and truly enjoys spending time with little ones.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $13,600 - $21,200 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard short-term benefits, including 1 week of paid time off, paid holidays over contract days, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.

Required Qualifications

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations
