Located at: I-70 and Evergreen Pkwy

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Thursday noon - 7pm and Friday noon - 6pm OR Monday through Thursday 11:30 am to 8pm. The family is happy to guarantee 35 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.

Start Date: ASAP

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for two children ages 3 and 4 years old.

About the Children:

Both children are in daycare full-time from 9-3.
The oldest daughter is sweet, loves to do arts and crafts, and be outside.
Her younger brother is energetic, imaginative, and is a classic 3-year-old boy.
They are very social and love to have fun.

About the Family:

Dad has a hybrid schedule and works either from home or in the office. He often travels for work.
Dad's partner is also on a hybrid schedule and works either from home or in the office.

About the Pets:

This family has two indoor cats and two dogs - all candidates must be pet-friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has had great relationships with their past au pairs. They are looking forward to welcoming a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

Key Responsibilities

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard nanny duties including child laundry, light tidying, night time routines, and some light errands while the children are in school.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position, but the family would love someone who is open to it occasionally, and with advanced notice.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ years of nanny experience with toddlers and school-age children
Previous experience caring for multiple children at one time
Fluent in English
The ideal candiate will be happy to help with some family assistant duties during the first few hours of the day before getting the children from school.
Someone who is outgoing, fun and active will thrive in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $28-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $50,960 - $63,700 per year (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering great benefits, including 4 weeks of paid time off, 16 paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Any Additional Perks:

This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

Required Qualifications

We welcome all candidates who meet or exceed the following requirements to apply…

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
