Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week.

Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out

Commitment/Contract Length: This is a short-term position for 3-4 months - longer if it’s a great match.

Children's Ages: Care will be for one toddler who is almost 3.

About the Children:

This toddler is curious, energetic, and adventurous. He is happy-go-lucky and loves to play with his airplanes. He is also expecting a new sibling in April, but there will be no care needed for the newborn.

About the Family:

Mom stays home and is in and out throughout the day.
Dad WFH in his office space.

About the Pets:

This family has a 7-year-old golden retriever- all candidates must be pet friendly.

Additional Notes:

This family has a great relationship with their current nanny, who has worked for them since their oldest was born. The family has relocated from the East Coast. They are looking forward to welcoming in a new nanny to their home - someone who will be a part of their parenting team - very soon.

A day in the life...

Standard Duties:

All standard family assistant duties including child laundry, child meal prep, fostering a learning environment, light tidying, rotating toys, and keeping the home organized.

Travel Requirements:

No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

2+ year of nanny experience with toddlers
Previous experience with household management duties
Spanish-speaking candidates will be given higher preference
The ideal candidate is loving, sweet, and enjoys getting out of the home with the child.

Compensation and Benefits

Let’s talk dollars and cents…

Rate of Pay (gross):

The family is offering $30-$35/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to a compensation of $14,400 - $16,800 for the 3-months (gross).

Benefits and Perks Offered:

This family is offering all standard short-term benefits including paid holidays, paid sick days and a vehicle to drive on the job.

Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
Have strong professional and personal references
Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
Are a non-smoker
Committed to professional, legal pay
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
Have all standard vaccinations.
